Social Journeys is a travel organization based in Nepal specializing on community, adventure and eco-tours broadly covering trekking, culture, history and discovery journeys, educational adventure and incentive tours, eco and wildlife journeys and most importantly the voluntourism. Social Journeys operates extensively in Nepal and also run special interest tours to Tibet, Bhutan and Sikkim. We are backed by a small, committed team of travel and development professionals who really do have a passion for what they are doing.

As the name suggests, we work exclusively with a social emphasis that support responsible, ethical and sustainable travel. We place special emphasis on community-based tourism, believing that local people should benefit from tourism and without involving them, tourism is not sustainable. Small group size: We travel with a small group, minimum of two to maximum of fifteen fellow travelers. Travelling in a small groups provide a better experience, avoid negative impact and makes it feel more like travelling with a bunch of friends than on an organized tour.

Financial security: Social Journeys is a Nepal government approved company registered under the License No 41221/063/064 to The Ministry of Culture, Civil aviation and Tourism. We are registered with several authorized travel associations of Nepal. This means that our clients are financially protected.

Cost of the trips: Overall, we feel we offer the best value for money around. For your convenient guiding cost and its inclusions and exclusions are mentioned in each trip. However the exact cost is fixed on the basis of group size, trip area, trip style and duration and would be provided on your request. Social Journeys do not attempt to offer the cheapest tours. We do endeavor however, to offer the best. And never compromise the quality of the service to make a journey ideal.
